4 Great Pike Place Hotels Near Seattle’s Famous Pike Place Market
Pike Place Market hotels offer visitors to Seattle great views and comfortable accommodations with easy access.
As you would expect, Seattle is home to many great hotels, and because it is a relatively compact city, many are quite near Pike Place Market. Here are our five favorite Pike Place Market hotels with in an easy walk. Starting with the one closest in.
As the name implies this the hotel that is most closely associated with Pike Place Market. Situated next to the market it offers easy access to the market, the waterfront, (although admittedly there is quite a climb when coming back up) and the downtown core.
As the old saying goes: location, location, location! This hotel has that in spades. Not only is it close to the sights mentioned, but you’ll also find great eats of all kinds nearby, too.
The hotel itself is just about all that you could ask for. Beautiful spacious rooms, outstandingly attentive staff, and, what can only be described as, killer views!
Though there are many fine hotels in Seattle, I can not think of a better experience while visiting Seattle.
Number two on our list is Pensione Nichols B&B. And, it is a much different experience than Inn at the Market.
Like number one on our list, it boasts a great location, too. It is only steps from the Market. The atmosphere, however, is completely different, offering what I would call “comfortable vintage”, but Pensione Nichols calls “eclectic antique” (many straight from antique shops in Sussex, England).
There are spectacular bay and mountain views (in its inviting breakfast, reading, entertaining room and two suites) here as well.
Some of the rooms are interior rooms that offer no windows, so views are from commons areas only.
Just a block away from The Market is the Thompson Hotel, number three on the list. Like the Inn at the Market, i would categorize the Thompson as a luxury accommodation.
This “ultra-chic” boutique hotel offers its own special brand of accommodation. The rooms offer floor to ceiling windows that offer intimate views over Pike Place Market.
Add to that expansive views that take in the Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and more. The views really are awe-inspiring.
Your room really does offer one of the nicest experiences available. It’s sleek. It’s inviting. It’s just downright beautiful.
4th on our list the Palladian by Kimpton Hotels. Approximately 2 blocks from the Market, this a funky chic hotel in which we really enjoyed our stay.
We actually have a full post on the Palladian, in which we share our experiences there. It really is a kick in the pants.
