5 Travel Hacks That Will Change Your Life
5 travel hacks that will change your life? Really? That’s what our guest poster shares with us today.
Travelling is not fun – said nobody ever. Literally, never in my life have I come across who ever said that travelling isn’t fun.
I’m not saying there aren’t people of this sort out there but such speculation never truly existed in my life. However, a mismanaged trip or a ruined trip can have its toll on you and it also substantially reduces the fun part to minimal degree.
And that is precisely why you’re here, because I’m going to give you the five best hacks that come to rescue you when nothing else seem to work. Or at least, implying them can prevent the situation from getting worse for you. So, without further ado let’s begin.
Timing is Everything
Alright so this is hands down the best tip I’m handing you right now if you wish to save yourself from some serious disappointment. In case you did not know already, most of the tourist sites that are publicly open for sightseeing have a set timing i.e. they have an opening and closing time.
Most of the “natural” sites, some hike parks and similar venues close before the sunset. And they might as well, close before the sunset.
So, when you have planned to visit a sight, make sure you check its timings and leave in coordination with them so you can enjoy the site properly. There is nothing worse than getting disappointed because you wasted a whole day on your vacation because you were too lazy to plan it correctly.
Be an Early Bird
This one is kind of flexible, but that entirely depends on the kind of vacation you’re on. You can be on a vacation in a city you have seen already and sightseeing is not going to be your preference then you can sleep late until afternoon and be lazy.
However, if that is not your prime plan and you intend to roam through the whole city and visit all the sites you better get used to sleeping on time and waking up early in the morning. If you wake up early you will undoubtedly have ample tie on your hands to visit all the places that you want to visit without missing out on the details or running from place to place in a rush. So, for your own good, wake up in time.
Oh, this tip is priceless! And you shall admit it once you’re done applying it on your own self.
Now we all know you have a list of all the museums you want to visit in France, that’s right, you got to see all the places and the list is just there to remind you so that you do not regret it later.
But hey! Calm down. A vacation doesn’t have to be like a to-do list. It is not a chore you must get over with. Be spontaneous with your plans and just sometimes, be more impulsive.
On a side note, do NOT, I repeat do not try to cram all the sites in one day or visit many places to make the most out of that day. It’ll only leave you tired and unfulfilled because you probably didn’t absorb the places you visited in, you just passed by and took photos. That doesn’t make a trip memorable.
A fun trip is the trip with least burden, both mental and physical. And I will explain to you how exactly you can achieve that!
Trust me, it is not hard at all! First, do not pack much.
Wherever you’re going they most probably have stores and you can easily buy clothes from there so there is no point in packing heaps of luggage and taking it with you to the trip. Experiment and see for yourself how light you will feel.
Less luggage means less burden on your mind of the stuff you need to take care of. Plus, do not hesitate from consuming the local food.
You might not know what you’d be missing out on if you did hesitate in the first place. So, do your research and find out the specialities and cuisines of the place you’re visiting. Then find restaurants with best reviews and ratings that would cater to you the best of ethnic food.
Road Trip? Music is a Must!
Chances are if you are low on budget you would be considering a road-trip. Or maybe you have just decided to go old-school and you have picked a road-trip.
Whatever your reasons might be, a road-trip is incomplete without music. So, look up your favourite genres, collect loads of upbeat or at least mood-lifting music.
Do not forget to include the choices and discretion of your friends because keeping them happy means a successful road-trip. Get your car’s music system tuned when you send the car for its check up on the workshop; this step is crucial.
If you do not have conclusively perfect music system installed in your car already, consider getting some of these underseat subwoofers. Their effect is marvellous, you will love the experience!
Get to know what speakers serve the best when it comes to car’s music system. I’m sure with all your music system amped up, you will have a blast on your trip.
These were just a few hacks to help you make your trip super awesome, memorable and fun! I hope you enjoy it, good luck!
