Essential Beauty Products To Carry In Your Beach Bag by Lori Longoria
The beauty products must not only have a presence in our vanity, but also in our beach bag when we decided to spend a day by the sea. But what kind of beauty products should we take to the beach?
What should we keep in mind when preparing the bag that will accompany us during our days of sun and sea breeze?
The sun’s rays are present all year round, so a sunscreen should never be missing in your toiletry bag, and even less when you go to the beach. If you also worry about the premature aging of your skin, you should know that the sunscreen is the best anti-aging that exists, because the sun is responsible for the appearance of spots and photo ageing. When choosing what sun protection factor you are going to use, you must take into account the sensitivity of your skin to the sun, but without forgetting that in some seasons of the year, the incidence of the sun is greater and therefore, you should use a sunscreen with a higher filter. During the summer, you should opt for a high SPF, preferably 50.
2. A bottle of water
Hydrating is another of the key factors when it comes to surviving a beach day. In addition to avoiding the sensation of thirst, when drinking water, we hydrate our skin from the inside, making it look much prettier on the outside. Never forget to bring a bottle of water in your beach bag. If you want to keep it cool, look for a bottle that keeps the temperature. There are very nice designs so you do not lose your style, not even on the beach!
When we talk about sunglasses we refer to lenses with protection against UV rays. Taking a stroll along the seashore is very relaxing however; the reflection of the sun’s rays on the sand or water can damage our retinas almost as much as looking directly at the sun. And, let’s be honest, in addition to protecting ourselves, good glasses can become the most glamorous accessory on the beach and the perfect excuse not to wear a drop of makeup.
4. Lighted makeup mirrors
Since all rooms have different lighting, your makeup can look very good in the mirror of your bedroom, but when it enters natural light, it can be too dark or too light. So the best option is use of lighted makeup mirrors. They will be of great help in sunlight on beach. So include it in your beach bag.
5. A hat
Following with the perfect beach look and of course with everything that should contain a good beach bag, the hat is another of the objects that can make a difference. The constant impact of the sun’s rays on our head can cause us to burn the scalp, give us a headache or even suffer sunstroke, therefore, covering is always a good option. Straw hat will keep you out from the rays of the sun. Another of its uses is to create some perfect shadow to browse through a magazine or a book without being dazzled by the reflection of the sun.
6. Lip balms
By not making melanin by themselves, the lips are more exposed to the dangers of the sun than any other part of the body. Therefore, it will be vital that you take care of them and hydrate them with a lip balm that contains a high SPF. Did you know that there are lip balms with UV protection? Yes, in addition to protecting the skin of your entire body, the lips should also receive their care in the face of solar aggressions.
7. A comb
The sand, the salt, the sunscreen, It may all sound very evocative, but the reality is that the beach and the hair do not get along and the sooner you understand it, the sooner you will save your hairs from ending up full of knots. The terrible effect is the logical consequence of mixing all the beach elements. For all this, the comb or brush should never be missing in your beach bag. After bathing, try to rinse your hair with fresh water and comb it to remove any remaining salt or sand. Hair suffers a lot with this type of aggression and therefore you need to take care of it. After brushing it, let it dry and then collect it. As an extra tip, you can bring a sunscreen for the hair and thus there will be nothing that damages it.
8. Something to eat
Depending on the time you spend on the beach, you can carry some food in your bag. Fruit is always a good choice, since it is made of water and sugar and can save you from a heat stroke, however you must ensure that it does not spoil with high temperatures. Therefore, fruit juices are great. If you are going to be on beach for short time, the cereal bars fill you up and take up little space in the bag. But if you’re going to spend all day and need a full menu, the best option is always have salad without dressing, pasta or rice.
9. Band-aids, handkerchiefs and wet wipes
A true beach lover knows that spending a whole day swimming and walking between the sun and the waves can be not only exhausting but also dangerous. A grain of sand that gets into an eye or a scratch made by sandals , are some of the side effects of the perfect beach job. Never forget to bring a small kit. Handkerchiefs, wet wipes plasters, eye drops or some medication for headache.
10. A depilatory tweezers
Although you have shaved before leaving home, it is possible that you missed some other hair. It is for this reason that wearing tweezers in your beach bag will be of great help if, suddenly, you discover an annoying and unsightly hair and want to make it disappear immediately.
11. A wicker basket
Where do we put all these beauty products now? Well, in a wicker basket. So carry a basket which is comfortable and stylish.
So these were the recommended things that you must have in your beach bag. You can add many other things according to your convenience in your beach bag like books, materials for diving and many others because it is your greatest companion during holidays that becomes a magic pocket where you can find every necessary thing.
